Community Outreach
Overview
- Our after-school Learning Center provdes a haven for inner city school age kids. The kids who attend get help with their homework and have the opportunity to go on field trips. We average 30 children per week.
- 50 people attend our monthy outreach at the Rincon Reservation.
- Monthly food distribution done in conjunction with the San Diego Food Bank provides groceries for 300-400 needy people.
- Several times during the year we conduct drama and drug awareness programs in local area schools.
