Nick Garife

Nick Garife surrendered to the Lord and entered the doors of Los Angeles Teen Challenge in August 1991. It was in the Teen Challenge program that Nick put his trust in God and continued on to the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute. He graduated TCMI in March 1995 and was hired as an entry level staff member for Teen Challenge Ministry Institute and in 1996 served as the Youth Pastor and eventually as Associate Pastor of Bible Assembly (Hope Christian Center). In 1998, Nick was promoted to Assistant Director of the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute at the same time, also serving as Associate Pastor of Hope Christian Center.

In 2004, Nick was promoted to Director of the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute. Nick is a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God. Nick serves as a Police Chaplain for the South Gate Police Department and sits on the Advisory Board of the Lynwood Worship Center.

Nick and his wife Lisa, (also a Teen Challenge graduate), have been married and in ministry together since 1998. They are blessed to be the parents of four wonderful children, Sabrina, Cynthia, Christopher and Matthew. Nick’s life scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
