Brought Back to Life, Megan’s Story
One day, Megan thought she was getting a quick shot of heroin, not realizing it had been laced with fentanyl. And she overdosed.
When she came to, she discovered the paramedics had given her two shots of Narcan—and that she had almost died.
Over the course of her 17-year addiction, Megan tried several rehabs, some just to stay out of prison. But at Teen Challenge she realized that to fully overcome drug addiction, she needed to turn everything over to God and ask him to remove the cravings. That proved to be the missing piece that she needed.
With that in mind, Megan began to pray every day and ask God to deliver her. Then one day, she woke up and realized she no longer craved drugs! Today Megan is a beautiful testimony of God’s grace and saving power! She stands as a restored mother, daughter, and wife.
